Simple, but clean accommodation, good accessibility to Canyon du Verdon, garage for bikes and motorcycles, good restaurant. But...
a dull and unwilling receptionist, who does not speak a single foreign language besides his native French, his colleague, an elderly lady, even more arrogant and unwilling. This completely spoiled our impression. We waited for more than 15-20 minutes to be served our drinks and every time we had to ask the bartender to bring us more. When we wanted to taste some French wine, it was served really warm and the lady just opened the bottle and left without saying anything or providing any wine serving culture. Really disappoining in the coutry of wine.

Very nice hotel. Quiet location. Ideal for all motorcyclists because there is a convenient covered parking area made available by the structure where you can leave your motorbike. Clean and comfortable room. There is also a beautiful terrace at street level where, if desired, it is possible to eat the dishes made available by the restaurant. Positive experience.
The hotel is comfortable. However dated. The plumbing is noisy and the use of the toilet by the next door neighbors...alas...audible a lot. The beds were made every day in a "home" way ... pulled up ... in short. Towels always changed on request. We had dinner three times with satisfaction despite experiencing disorganization and breathlessness each time. At the time of payment, at the end of the stay, we also found and suffered discrepancies. We were charged for dishes and drinks that were not ordered or consumed. We didn't dispute it because, upstream, there was a blatantly naive mistake on our part, namely that of not having the bill drawn up at each dinner to verify the charge. We didn't want to argue. However, a little bitterness in the mouth remains...

Having set off on a five-day motorcycle road trip, this hotel-restaurant easily won the top spot on the podium, both for the quality of the bedding, the quality of the home cooking, the warm welcome filled with kindness, the kindness of all the staff who remain attentive to our needs. It's a perfect, calm and authentic place. I loved it.
